This is a really big deal.

Considering the nature of this site and, especially, considering the lengths that those persons behind the investigation of myself are willing to go in their quest to somehow associate me with *any* sort of computer crime, I have been quite adamant about never having a dedicated internet connection to my home computer.

This has been, primarily, for obvious security reasons.

However, as of 04/29/06, this has changed.

One of my roommates has installed a dedicated wireless router as an access point to an ADSL internet feed. Furthermore, I have purchased a wireless NIC (network card) and am now using the internet, full time from my bedroom-based computer!

Whooo Hoooo!

For years now, I've required of myself that I only access the internet through public interfaces or through the use of friends or family members computers ... most of whom are and have been fully aware of my ongoing efforts to prove an investigation of myself exists.

As reiterated over and over in jbhFILE.com, one of the primary objectives of the investigators is to bring charges against me involving criminal use of computers, especially any activity related to hacking or internet pornography. And, so ... I've been very careful to limit my personal exposure to such access points.

Granted, having first hand knowledge and somewhat unique experience with the many myriad of ways in which a high speed, dedicated internet connection can be exploited, I realize that this is a substantial risk.

However, the fact that I've quite publically and continually, for over four years now, spoke out regarding my knowledge of the afore mentioned investigation of myself, and especially since launching jbhFILE.com, I feel comfortable enough in allowing myself this bit of luxury ... that is, internet access from a home computer.

I have updated the personal affirmations page jbhFILE.com and will continue my weekly application of a renewed signature to validate and reinforce it's public statements.
